First Flight Art Kit

First Flight Studio Art Kit is a hands-on opportunity to try your hand at my artistic process and collaborate with me on a small piece of original art.

I’ve applied the beeswax on the panel and cut the magazine paper for you. Your part begins with sanding the surface, wetting the paper, and then gently rubbing the paper away to reveal the ink transferred onto the beeswax underneath. You’ll also carve details into the surface before adding a final protective finish.

Each kit includes a 4 × 4 × 1-inch art panel, a 3 × 3-inch practice panel, sandpaper, and access to a step-by-step instructional video where I’ll guide you through the process.

You’ll just need a few things from home: water, a rag, a small tool for carving, and a clear finish such as varnish, Mod Podge, or acrylic medium.

When you’re finished, you’ll have a unique piece of art to display in your home—and one you can say you collaborated with me to complete.
